Welcome Class of 2021 Parents! Over the past two years, the Naval Academy Business Services Division (NABSD) has been an integral part of your midshipman’s life providing a myriad of products and services that are an essential part of Academy life. We are extremely proud of your sons and daughters--and take great pride in their accomplishments as well as watching them develop into the next generation of our Nation’s leaders. During the course of each year, our staff washes and dry cleans over 1.5 million pounds of clothing. Our barbers and beauticians provide over 50,000 haircuts. NABSD’s tailors alter and repair 160,000 items. Our cobblers repair 3000 shoes, and the staff issues more than 85,000 textbooks. NABSD also operates the various retail and dining establishments on the Naval Academy Yard. Be sure to visit the Midshipmen Store to see the great changes we have made to make it your one-stop-shopping destination for all your USNA spirit wear, as well as an extensive offering of the latest name brand merchandise from clothing selections to footwear and accessory items. While you are visiting your midshipman, dine with us at one of the two retail dining services on theYard managed by NABSD. This includes the quick service Drydock Restaurant, featuring made-to-order deli sandwiches, grill items, and pizzas. The Alley, located in the Naval Academy Club, offers upscale lunch and dinner options along with great happy hour specials. Stop by 1845 Coffee at Gate 3 for a variety of coffee beverages and locally prepared baked goods. The Naval Academy Club is also a premier caterer offering Sunday Brunch and catered menus for special events and intimate gatherings.
